Jeonbuk Institute of Forest Environment’s Jeonbuk Forest Museum, located at Naejangsan Mountain famous for autumn leaf color in our country, operates its special opening for free without closed Monday from October 14 until November 17 in the face of autumn foliage season.

Forest Museum prolongs its opening time (from 09:00-17:00 to 08:00-18:00) without its closure during the period of its special opening for the peak season of red-tinted autumn leaves every year.

During the period of its special opening, in order to enhance the value of Forest Museum and strengthen the public relations of Forest Museum, this museum specially exhibits 33 works including ceramics and calligraphy-carving works collected by World Calligraphy Biennale of Jeollabuk-do, and provides diverse spectacles and attractions through creating outdoor chrysanthemum and herbaceous ornamental landscapes.

This museum holds special exhibitions as well as diverse experience programs for forest education and culture in order to highlight the image of this museum and expand the attraction of visitors.

In the other hand, Jeonbuk Forest Museum is the only experience museum for forest education and culture in Jeollabuk-do, which was opened in 2002. Visitors during scarlet-tinged autumn leaves season reached a total of 57,130 persons last year, with an average annual audience of about 180,000 persons visiting this museum steadily.
