Jeollabuk-do Performs Public Relations Marketing campaigns at Malaysia International Sightseeing Fair, Largest in Southeast Asia

Jeollabuk-do participated in Malaysia International Sightseeing Fair (MATTA FAIR) open at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 6 days from 15th to 20th, operated Jeollabuk-do Sightseeing Public Relations Center, and performed public relations marketing campaigns such as At-field Outbound Travel Agency Sales Call.

In Malaysia International Sightseeing Fair, conducted by Malaysia Travel Agency Association and targeted at about 100 thousand watcher consumers, largest in Malaysia, the travel agencies and groups, home and abroad from about 14 countries such as Singapore, the Philippines, Jeju-do, and Kangwon-do, will participate and install about 1,302 booths.

Jeollabuk-do, grasping the opportunity of Malaysia International Sightseeing Fair, a representative Sightseeing Fair in Southeast Asia, publicized positively Jeonbuk's taste, style, and experiential tourism commercial products, which held Korean tradition, aiming at the customers in Malaysia and imprinted Jeollabuk-do's attraction.

 

 

 

Especially, Jeonju Hanok Village recognition was high, because Korea Tourism Organization supporters worked through SNS. The young people in Malaysia showed concernment and response on Hanok Experience, Street Food, and Hanji Experience.

Operating Jeonbuk Sightseeing Public Relations Center at Korean Pavilion constructed by Gimje Horizontal Festival image in cooperation with Gimje-si, Jeollabuk-do fascinated Malaysians visiting Public Relations Center.

In addition, Jeollabuk-do publicized positively 'Seoul-Jeonbuk Shuttle Bus exclusively for foreigners' and 'Jeonbuk Tour Pass' a representative Jeollabuk-do brand product, as well as sightseeing products linked with 3 cities and provinces, centering on Honam areas, gave prominence to 2018 Jeollabuk-do Visitation Year, and offered local specialities by SNS event to make maximize participation in Jeollabuk-do Booth.

 

In the future, Jeollabuk-do will set up Tour, targeting at the persons concerned on major travel agencies in Malaysia, and perform continuous public relations in many ways to invite tourists from Southeast areas by on-line public relations marketing, targeting at tourists who visit Jeollabuk-do from Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
