Jeollabuk-do will diversify the application field of carbon material to improve carbon industry and expand the base, focusing on the ones possible to apply to the carbon material.  It will expand to the fields of  aviation, electricity, auto-run automobiles, and medical equipment industry as well as the existing automobiles, shipbuilding,  machinery, and construction.

The problem of carbon price will be solved in medium and long term, because various technical developments are in progress.  Jeollabuk-do, for the purpose of increasing short-period markets, will make an emphasis on accessing the markets of various special products that can create high added value by applying functional trait of carbon material.

So, this year Jeollabuk-do will participate in "Airplane Winglet  Composite Materials Repair Process Technology Development Project” contested by the Ministry of  Land, Infrastructure and Transportation and firsthand  develop composite material parts for the use of airplanes  step by step, starting from airplane composite material parts maintenance, repair, and operation.

The industries of electricity automobiles and auto-run automobiles will be expanded, and electronic parts for the use of automobiles will be increased in number.  So, the problem of automobile misfunction due to electronic wave has to be solved as soon as possible.  For the purpose of solving the problems, from 2019, Jeollabuk-do will focus on promoting electromagnetic wave shield industry with carbon fiber.  "Electromagnetic wave shield”is a part which blocks the electromagnetic wave generating from electronic equipment so that it can not effect on other equipment.

Furthermore, Jeollabuk-do recently tries to access the market of human body insertion typed medical equipment emerging as carbon composite material abruptly.  So, it will reflect  ‘new material medical equipment industry improvement project appropriate to bodies’ on 2019 national project and push ahead with fusing and conglomerating carbon industry and medical equipment industry.
