Ban Ki-Moon, Ex-UN Secretary General, Becomes an Honorary Jeonbuk Citizen

 

 

Ban Ki-Moon, the 8th UN Secretary General, became an honorary Jeonbuk Citizen.

 

Song Ha-Jin, Provincial Governor, gave Jeollabuk-do honorary provincial citizen certificate to Ban Ki-Moon, Ex-secretary-general, who visited Provincial Office in order to give a special lecture on SEP, 4.

 

Ban Ki-Moon, Ex-secretary-general, did positive activities, participating in World Scout League General Meeting in order to induce 2023 World Jamboree to Saemangeum, and contributed to induction conclusively. Evaluated on the contribution, he could receive the honorary Jeonbuk citizen certificate

 

Governor Song said, "Today, we had a meaningful time very much, because Ban Ki-Moon, Ex-secretary-general, became one of Jeonbuk citizens. I want him to participate and advise in holding World Jamboree and in finding the way for Jeonbuk to go ahead."

 

 

Ban Ki-Moon, Ex-secretary-general, replied, "The induction of Saemangeum Jamboree is a great result that enhances national status. Jamboree has a worldly great influence, so I will do my role positively in holding the great meeting."

 

Ban Ki-Moon, Ex-secretary-general, after becoming an honorary Jeonbuk citizen, made a progress of a special lecture about his own experiences as UN Secretary General and provincial government's role on the target at provincial citizens and officers.

 

Ban Ki-Moon, Ex-secretary-general, after the special lecture, had a lunch together with provincial governors including Governor Song Ha-Jin and visited Saemangeum Center33 to listen to a briefing about Saemangeum Project and to take a look at World Jamboree campground.
