Taekwondo Festival Comes Soon, the Biggest in the World

2017 Muju WTF World Taekwondo Championship Opens on June 24.

 

Taekwondo Festival will open in Jeonbuk, the biggest in the world.

 

'2017 Muju WTF World Taekwondo Hampionship' will open in Muju Taekwondowon' from June 24 to 30. 1,768 players will participate in this festival from 183 country, the biggest in history.

 

 

In this international festival, which opens in Muju Taekwondowon for the first time since its opening, a variety of events will go along after an opening ceremony on June 24 4:00 pm, such as eight weight class games by men and women, symposiums, international conferences, etc.

 

This competition arouses the interests of the people, internal as well as external, for worldly players will participate and game speedily.

 

The gold medalists in 2016 Rio Olympic and the players who won the first rank in the world will game in this competition, so they attract public attention of worldly players and sports devotees.

 

In addition to games, the audiences will have good chances to do and enjoy many things.

 

They will experience a sensuous Taekwondo tour, for a variety of events will be shown, such as performances of Taekwondo demonstration team, Taekwondo breaking demonstration, K-POP performonce, Muju Anseong Fireworks, Traditional Culture Performance, and Multi-culture Family Harmony Event.

 

 

The opening performances will arouse the interest of the audience, including dances with the themes of Taekwondo martial arts time travel from the ancient to the modern age, Taekwondo demonstration, and pungmuldan (percussion music band) performances.

 

On the other hand, Taekwondowon entrance and game viewing will be free, with the purpose of giving the audience chances of feeling and experiencing Taekwondo attraction directly for this great meeting period. But, monorail boarding and experiential programs will be provided at a cost.
