Jeollabuk-do attracts foreigner tourists as tourism product planned for the special aim connected with outstanding resources.

 

This year, Jeollabuk-do operates the programs to live for a month in Jeonbuk such as taekwondo, calligraphy, food, cloths, traditional performance etc. ‘Korea-China Taekwondo Exchange Event’, a tourism product planned for the special aim, completed the reservation of participants already. The groups and clubs inquire about the event continuously.

 

About 600 Chinese participants composed of students and parents completed reservation of '2019 Global Martial Arts Festival' expected to be held at Muju Taekwondowon from August 2 to 6. In addition, ‘The 2nd Korea-China Taekwondo Competition’ will be held at Jeonju University from August 8 to 12. About 500 Chinese, composed of students and parents, will participate there.

 

450 participants from taekwondo studios and associations located at Chengdu, Tsingtao, Xian etc. will visit Jeollabuk-do from August 4 to August 9. From August 11 to 15, about 500 Chinese youths and Jeollabuk-do youths will participate in ‘Korea-China Youth Arts Festival’.

 

In June, the artists of Shandong Province Calligraphy Association in China will visit Jeollabuk-do. In September, Korea-China Fashion Show will be held by Quipao Association of China

 

In October, Dainty Food Festival will be held. In Jeollabuk-do, a representative province of Korean taste, about 100 chefs of Sansi Province Cooking Association in China reserved a visit to Jeollabuk-do in October to show emperor cook enjoyed by the 13th Chinese emperor.

 

Jeollabuk-do planned together with the Institution for International Cultural Exchange (located at Wanju) ‘Tour Program to Live in Jeonbuk for One Month’ on the objects of youth foreigner as an experience event of Korea. Jeollabuk-do will make progress of the program as the objects of university students of Thai and Mongolia during this winter vacation.

 

In order to expand international tourism market, Jeollabuk-do will develop and operate tourism product additionally on the objects of Japan, South Asia, Europe, and America from this autumn product .
