The World Heritage in Jeonbuk Appear in the Text Book
Compilation Begins at the End of July, and Publication at the End of the Year
The world heritages in Jeonbuk will appear in the text book of the elementary school located in Jeonbuk.
The province of Jeonbuk consults with Jeonbuk educational office in order to make them appear from 2018 on 'Jeollabuk-do Living Together', a complimentary textbook a local textbook) of the society subject for the 4th degree, elementary school located at the province.
There are five world heritages that the elementary school students can contact by the text book such as Gochang Dolmen (2000), Pansori ( classical Korean traditional song) 2003, Hawking (2010), and Baekje Historic Areas in Iksan (2015).
Jeollabuk-do makes plans for providing with information concerning on not only the value and form of dolmens of Gochang Dolmen, but also Dolmen Museum and Jukrim Seonsa Village Experience Site etc.
Pansori, UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, originates from Jeonbuk. The textbook will include its role.
The textbook will include the origin of hawking which continued for several thousand years and Jinan Park Jeong Ho hawker (Jeonbuk intangible cultural heritage No.20), one of the hawking ability holders, and Hawking Publicity Experience Hall.
Jeonbuk Nongak (instrumental music of peasant) guides in detail the history which accounts for 7 ones of 30 items listed at UNESCO about Korean Nongak, Honam Udo Nongak and Jwado Nongak comparatively, and experiential program about Imsil Palbong Cultural Village.
